Blue Bathroom

I wanted to combine my love for creating digital illustrations and 3D models, so I was searching for the perfect inspiration. I found a 2D concept called "Blue Bathroom" by Clare Sim https://www.artstation.com/artwork/58g39O, which I wanted to recreate in a 3D lens. To me, the style definitely appears to have Arcane, Love, Death, and Robots: THE WITNESS, Life is Strange 2, and Cyberpunk 2077 vibes. With this in mind, I drew inspiration from the 2D "Blue Bathroom," merging it with the style study above and adding a few hints of my own work throughout my 3D recreation of the "Blue Bathroom." As a pursuit of mine, getting into double A games in my high school years - back in 2017 - and loving playing "Life is Strange" by DON'T NOD, I became addicted to this game as well as the style/ set dressing of "Jusant" and new games emerging like "Lost Records: Bloom and Rage" that I have yet to play from DON'T NOD. This project is part of my Senior Thesis, where I learned more about hand-painted 3D assets, Substance 3D Designer, Flipbooks in Unreal Engine, and more. I hope you enjoy it!
